Covenant Relations

To those who say we are no longer under the "law" but are under "grace" that allows the remarriage of divorced persons. A strong warning to you - You are preaching and practicing "lawlessness"

 

CREATIONAL MARRIAGE COVENANT RELATIONSHIP

Hosea 4:6 (King James Version)

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge:
because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me:
seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God,
I will also forget thy children.

- Align our will with God's will, look at marriage from his perspective only, that is "from the beginning" - creational.

- Understand the absolute permanency of a covenant relationship

 

Lawful (God's Law) Covenant Marriages are Indissolvable

Covenantal Attitude NOT Contractual Attitude
Hebrew Mindset NOT Western Mindset
Know what a true covenant is. Do not redefine it!

 

John Wesley said "Before I can preach love, mercy and grace, I must preach sin, law and judgement"

He (Jesus) saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so. Matthew 19:8 KJV

Therefore this means:

Any marriage entered into by any man or woman who has a living pre-existing husband or wife, is considered to be the sin of adultery. It is not a one-flesh covenant marriage. It must be repented of and forsaken, according to the Scriptures.

Apostle Paul wrote:
So then if, while her husband liveth, she be married to another man, she shall be called an adulteress: but if her husband be dead, she is free from that law; so that she is no adulteress, though she be married to another man. Romans 7:3 KJV

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 KJV

Please note:

When we write lawful, we mean in respect of the legal discipline of God's Moral law. (Law of the The Lord, The Law of Liberty, Royal Law). This is not to be confused with Moses Law or current marriage laws of a nation or state today. John the Baptist told in no uncertain terms King Herod his marriage to Herodias was unlawful, meaning that he was breaking at least one (adultery) of the Ten Commandments (Gods Moral Law).
